Many teams struggle against the packline defense, as the middle and penetration lanes are usually shut down. So the packline in many ways resembles zone defense. Attacking it with a zone offense is a good way to go... see the website for zone offenses. You want to get ball-movement and good quick ball-reversal, and a quick feed into the low post after a ball-reversal. The packline usually tries to deny the baseline and force to the middle... so if you can actually attack the baseline you can break it down with dribble-penetration there.

Of course, if you are an up-tempo team, attack with fast-break and secondary break whenever you can... beat the defense up the court.
